Tanjung Tuan Forest Reserve

Tanjung Tuan Forest Reserve is a nature attraction approximately 8 minutes’ drive by car from AnCasa Residences Port Dickson. Tanjung Tuan Forest Reserve, a wildlife sanctuary adorned with mangrove swamps and secluded beaches, offers a perfect setting for nature trekking. As the evening sets in, the uphill road becomes a popular spot for locals to jog or briskly walk, accompanied by the refreshing shades of lush greenery, providing an excellent opportunity for exercise and relaxation.

Perched atop the summit, facing the majestic Strait of Malacca, lies the historic Tanjung Tuan Lighthouse, also known as Cape Rachado Lighthouse, derived from the Portuguese term meaning "broken cape." Dating back to the 16th century during the Portuguese rule of Malacca, it is believed to be the country's oldest lighthouse.

A cherished destination for birdwatchers, particularly during raptor migratory seasons, the Tanjung Tuan Lighthouse offers breathtaking views of the lush forest scenery below and the vast expanse of the sea. Visitors can also access jungle trails leading to hidden gems like the pristine Tanjung Tuan beach. As a protected park, the beaches along this cape remain immaculately preserved, boasting crystal-clear waters and sparkling white sands.
